Origin: James Fitzgerald comes from a long line of Policemen, so when he came of age it was no surprise that he would aspire to do the same. Growing up in the 1930’s was a confusing time for a teenager. This was a time of great bigotry and hatred towards people of color, but James saw a great example of how men ought to treat each other from his father Officer James Fitzgerald Sr. His father was well respected by all races within their community as a result of the respect he showed to all that he met.
One evening on an old country road a mile away from town, James Jr. and his father drive back home from the general store to find a young colored boy  surrounded by a mob of angry white men. With hatred in their hearts the mob charged at the young man desiring to tare him limb from limb. But suddenly Officer Fitzgerald pulled over and he and his son got out aiding the young man. After clearing out the angry mob, Officer Fitzgerald and James check on the young man to see that he is ok.            
         Then the young man asked them why they helped him fight off the white mob since they were white. Officer Fitzgerald told him that, “a man is a man and no one has the right to mistreat him.” This caused James Jr. to strive to do the same and that he did. James graduated in the top of his class in high school, graduated with high honors from college as well as police academy. Upon graduation James left Charleston SC behind to follow his dreams in Steel Town MA. Since then he has excelled and has recently become the Lead Detective of his precinct much to the chagrin of many the elder officer’s.

Special powers/ Abilities: James Fitzgerald possesses no superhuman abilities, but is a dedicated officer of the law. He possesses a keen deductive mind, naturally athletic, physically fit and skilled hand to hand combatant as well as a skilled marksman.
 
 
 
Weapons: James carries a police issued firearm, a 45 caliber hand gun, handcuffs and the like.
