Real Name: Justin Morrison

Occupation: Former Repairman, Adventurer

Identity: Secret

Legal status: Citizen of the U.S. with no criminal record

Base of operations: Mobile

Group of affiliation: The Freedom Battalion

Place of birth: Washington, DC

Known relatives: Samantha (wife), Trudi (daughter)

First appearance: Legend of the Black Starr #1

Origin: During the First World War, the U.S. government began selecting patriotic individuals to participate in “The Phoenix Project” – an experimental program to enhance their soldiers in the field. The experiment augmented any irregularities in their DNA, causing further mutations to occur. Eager to support his country, Justin (a local repairman) answered the call.
After seeing the results from the project, the U.S. government created the Freedom Battalion, a group of enhanced individuals sanctioned to protect the populace from possible threats, both foreign and domestic. Justin Morrison is a founding member.

Height: 6 ft. 6 in.               Weight: 289 lb.

Eyes: Blue                     Hair: Black

Special powers/Abilities: Can manipulate his body size, growing up to 60 feet high and weighing up to 32,860 pounds. Increased density gives him low-level invulnerability. There is no limit to how long Mr. Monolith can remain in his expanded form. The process of changing size is fatiguing, making him more vulnerable to harm after successive changes. In expanded form, the enlarged mass of his bone and muscle tissue grant him sufficient strength to support his additional weight. At 15 feet tall, Mr. Monolith can lift (press) about 5 tons with ease.
